Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informative video about AIDS Education and Prevention. The proceeds of this video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising projects, and she also testified to a special Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has requested that she replace him in a few occasions at AIDS related occasions. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. In the following week, she kicked off her summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show also had Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Her next film was Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady along with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also the protagonist in a psychological thriller that was exclusively produced through the USA Network. It received the top rating recorded in network history.
