Allana Ferguson bio

Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following numerous knee injuries throughout many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played in her first female rugby union match played with New South Wales as she was the star of the game against Queensland. Allana added radio to the repertoire, and she makes regularly appearances on the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos superstar and teacher who is qualified outside of sport she has played for Australia three times - in touch football, in rugby league as well in rugby sevens. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos player who played in rugby league for many years, has had to end her playing career before the age of 25 after she tore her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson was already tearing ligaments on her knee at the ages of 15, 17, and following the third tear, it was game over for the 25-year old. Ferguson is the JILLAROOS team's playmaker. The decision to leave was in the wake of a 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in the month of November. She has been a player in the women's rugby league for several seasons.
